A woman not by a woman...

Fragmentation can exist on the outside as well, one that can be intoxicating however.

Gutsy Girl

Well, you asked to know what goes on inside women (and I had to fill my lame joke quota. Now we are both happy).

Galaxy Burn

To credit where credit is due, Chesley Bonestell is a master of space, and his interpretations are so amazing that one cannot blame others for feeling "why bother?" Thankfully some have gone on and created equally stunning work. Still, one cannot deny the joy of such an illustration. Enjoy.

Face to Face, to remind you

Nothing can follow that frazetta point, so let's not even try. Let's just enjoy what we can, No need to promise roses and then only give you promises.

Now He belongs to the ages (or Goodbye, Frazetta)

[Enlarge Here]

It is with a heavy heart I must acknowledge the death of one of my favorite artist, and one one the finest ever, Frank Frazetta. To bring out an old cliche a picture is worth a thousand words, and he did so many, of such stunning achievement that I could talk from here until my passing and sill not do it justice. He was timeless far before his death, but as with many people who spring from this mortal coil, it takes such an event to acknowledge how lucky we are to have had him. The word art has such a nebulous halo around it, but, if I may quote Herzog, "it makes our life BETTER". And that is exactly what this man did. Cheers, Frank.

Arming Eritrea (live 2008) by Future of The Left

Another entry in the on again-off again category of new bands worth a damn. This may seem something of a cheat it is more a super group,of two existing bands mclusky(drums, vocals- guitars) and jarcrew (bass)*, so they are not new in the strictest sense of the word. Still, their distorted guitars, surreal-made up on the cuff lyrics, and general stage presence cannot be denied. Perhaps best seen in a pub or small room, but they have the audio muscle to move arena audiences. Well done, boys.

*=Well, before he left.
