I am always somewhat moved and pleased when I see fan art work for nostalgic shows that far outstrip the source material. Jem and the Holograms had the label of being "truly, truly outrageous" but was more less a show where one could see where everything was going, and not much sparks in the journey there. This artwork isn't a great piece, but their is hint of a viewpoint, a twist of human emotion. Something the original show never had, to a large extent. This isn't stealing material, this is a marvelous reinvention, a foothold to quality. Bravo.
